Addie's 1st Christmas!!!

Addie did really well for her 1st Christmas. We were a little worried with all the new people she would be around, the travelling, and everything else that comes with the holidays!! She enjoyed the lights of the Christmas trees, and really got the hang of ripping into her presents. I think she mastered the art of pulling off bows!! One little mushy moment....at our first family gathering, which was my Dad's family, she met my Great Aunt Birdie, which was my Granny's sister. I asked Birdie what she thought my Granny would think of Addie...and I will never forget she said..."your Granny would be so proud"!! I think she is very right!!

Addie's Christmas art

Daycare did a Christmas art project where all the babies used their hands in paint to make a Christmas tree. Then their faces made the ornaments on the tree. Stockings hung on the door around the tree. I loved that they let the babies paint!!

Merry Christmas!!

We finally got both trees up and decorated...it took a while, but it's DONE!! Addie likes the lights on the trees and the sparkly ornaments!! She was a great poser for the Christmas card this year!! What a big girl!!

Addie made decorating for Christmas a little more challenging this year...she wanted to play instead. She discovered she liked sitting on Daddy's shoulders, playing with new toys, and reading books.

Happy Thanksgiving

Addie's first Thanksgiving was special for more than just her first Thanksgiving, it was also the first time she met some of her family in Virginia, including her Great Grandma Mable (Daniel's side). Overall she did really well with the trip. She will enjoy it more next year when she can eat some of the great food!!

Addie's First day at daycare!!

Addie's first day at daycare went great!! I think Addie did better then her Mommy!! She only cried for a few minutes when I dropped her off but she loved watching what all the other babies were doing. She is the smallest baby in her classroom right now. There are currently only two babies (including her) that are not at least crawling. This is Miss Amanda in the picture with her.

OK....so I know it has been a while

I said when I started this that I would not let their be big gaps in my posts...well so much for that!! Since Addie started daycare in mid November it has been crazy. Of course the holidays didn't provide any free time either, but now I am attempting to catch up with what has been missed. So you will see a lot of pictures to show you how much she has grown!! HOPEFULLY...there won't be another big gap like this!!
