Reach for it...

Addie has started reaching for things...she just can't seem to reach any of them...yet!!

Go Daddy Go!!

This weekend a group of guys from Oakwoods Country Club went on a golfing trip to Pinehurst. This was Daniel's second year of going and he had a lot of fun and apparently played really well, because he won the trophy for Low Net Champion. He explained this to me and I think it means he had the best score for the weekend under his handicap. I think?!? Anyway...Addie and I are so proud!! Like Tiger has his Sunday reds....now Daddy has his Sunday blues!! Congratulations Daddy!!

Southern Christmas Show

We went on our annual trip to the Southern Christmas show this past weekend. Me, Mom, and Granny go every year, but this year we had Addie which made it even more fun!! We got to stop and visit Santa and Addie did so well with him!! After this I am ready to deck the halls!! Christmas is going to be a blast this year!! I think Addie is really going to love looking at the lights on the Christmas trees!!

Miss Independent!!

Addie is trying so hard to roll over!! She grunts and groans, kicks her legs, and arches her back....she is sooooo close to getting it!!

Addie visited daycare!!

Addie starts daycare on the 18th, so we visited today since Mommy was off work. She stayed with Ms. Chenae and Ms. Amanda. She did really well and even learned how to blow bubbles with her drool!! Seeing her be happy there, made me feel really good about leaving her!! I think she is going to be just fine!!

Must have been a crazy dream!!

Addie took a nap and when she woke up.....her hair was a HOT MESS!!

Getting stronger everyday!!

Addie is getting a lot better about holding her neck up. We are still working on keeping her neck up while on her tummy. We need to master this for her 3 month pictures!!

Blue eyes?!?!?

The doctor says Addie is probably going to keep her blue eyes because they are still such a vibrant blue and don't show any signs of fading!! Thank you Daddy for giving me such beautiful blue eyes!! Let's hope the doctor isn't wrong!!

Jammie time!!

Renaissance Festival

Happy 11 week Birthday Addie!! We took her to the Renaissance Festival and she did great!! She loved being outside all day!! She had her picture taken with the King and Queen (eventhough she was asleep); she saw several shows, her favorite being the Acrobats (because she got out of her carrier); and she had a caricature done!! This caricature artist was fantastic...he said Addie's was the best he had done all day...and by the crowd of people that watched and commented as they walked by, then maybe so!! He captured her pretty good, or in his words "Boy did I get her or what?!?!". Mommy and Daddy enjoyed sampling the food!!

Tummy time...

but of course Addie can't get her eyes off the tv!!

Go Yankee's!!

It's the World Series, so of course Daddy had to sport his team in the mall. He says Addie has to like the Yankee's too!! She'll grow into it!!

Happy Halloween!!

Addie's 1st Halloween!! Eventhough Addie didn't really care to wear her costume for very long, she was a Sweet Pea!! Mommy and Daddy gave her a Bumbo for Trick-or-Treat. She is trying so hard to sit up by herself we thought she would really like sitting in this little seat. We decorated pumpkins and trick-or-treated in Wilkes!! Now 10 weeks old and growing like a weed!!

Pumpkin Patch

Addie got to go to the pumpkin patch as a reward for doing so well with her 2 month shots!! She loved being outside and riding in the wagon (with Honey Bunney of course)!! Addie got 1 big pumpkin and 2 baby pumpkins. We had so much fun we had to go back with Daddy so she could actually get out of her car seat and it wasn't so muddy!!

We love Fall!!

It's hard to believe Addie is 9 weeks old already!!!

Addie's new love....

Something we are going to see a lot of....Honey Bunny!! This little lovie was used to play in Kohl's and she got attached...we bought it...and now we take it everywhere and she LOVES it!!

What Addie thinks about...

This is what you get when you leave baby with Daddy....spiked hair and an attitude!! We use this picture to fill in the blank for a lot of situations. We can't say Daddy never taught her anything!!

Playing in my jammies!!!

Addie woke up so happy....I couldn't resist taking these pictures!!

Addie thinks Daddy is FUNNY!!!

Holden Beach 2009

Addie took her first trip to Holden Beach at six weeks old. We had four generations of women there (my Granny, my Mom, Me, and Addie). Addie loved having her feet in the sand and water...until the sand made its way to her diaper!! The baby tent to protect her from the sun was a lifesaver!! We had a blast and can't wait to take her back next year.
